#HoHoHo December! No, I'm not in Jackson (that Moet 🍾igloo tent was a-ma-zing) but I have Elle King's tune, Ex's & Oh's on my mind (modified to #Ribbons and #Bows for this post🎀😁) It's that most wonderful time of the year once again--bring on the #holidays! The weather has been pretty delightful these past few days (except for the Santa Ana winds that blew everything everywhere). The house is lit, the stockings hung, and the cats are napping under the #Christmas tree (their fav hideout). I'm slowly but surely recovering from the #Thanksgiving food coma and doing my part to support the economy with buys on #BlackFriday #SmallBusinessSaturday and #CyberMonday (credit cards are smokin'). Life in #lockdown has certainly changed my purchasing priorities this year. While I'm not buying axes, machetes nor rifles like a certain person I know (conspiracy theories are alive and well), I am gifting food/dinner packages (Omaha Steaks is offering some great deals). I thought since we're not frequenting restaurants much these days, a gourmet meal at home will be a welcome treat. Books, puzzles and subscription services will also be making their way into the stockings, must keep those minds and hands busy!
Just about every room in the house is sparkling with Christmas finery. Even on the darkest of days, the lights of a tree always make me smile. Old ornaments and new--the best for me are the ones made by my son during his school days--they still get a special place on the tree.
It was just about this time last year when we were in Jackson, Wyoming for a pre-Christmas getaway at the fabulous Four Seasons hotel--talk about a room with a view. The Teton mountains were a spectacular site--I can't wait to get back there again to see more of Yellowstone Park. Note-to-self: I will never again take any #trip for granted!

I'm doing something a bit different this year with my series #holiday branding. As all fiscally minded #writers must do during this book selling season, I'm shamelessly self promoting my books on FB, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest over the next month. I decided to dress the books up a bit with #ribbons, #bows and the lovely black and white check background (I'm a sucker for anything Mackenzie Childs #JustSayin). In addition to looking festive, the branded look also standardizes and unifies the book tweets/posts, differentiating my books and series from others. It's a marketing 101 good thing---stand out and be seen, bring on the book sales!
